Destined for Glory drops Sept 25: Mbappe 91, Isak 88 headline

EA has confirmed the next big EAFC 27 Ultimate Team promo. Destined for Glory goes live on Friday, September 25 alongside worldwide launch and runs for two weeks until October 9, arriving in two batches of upgraded special cards that replace regular items in packs.

The headliners are community-voted, with cover star Kylian Mbappe leading at 91 OVR and Alexander Isak at 88. New signings Morgan Rogers (Chelsea) and Matheus Fernandes (Tottenham) join alongside Bryan Mbeumo.

The hook is that these are live items. Destined for Glory cards can gain OVR upgrades across the whole season based on real-world domestic league performances, with milestones set by each player's position, so early investments can pay off long term.
